Verdict

Last year’s Queen’s Vase runner-up Barbados chased home the in-form Twilight Payment in a Group 3 at the Curragh in June but won’t find it easy to give weight away to three improving three-year-olds over this shorter distance. KEATS should be suited by stepping up in distance after a one-paced third in Listed company last time and he’s preferred to Bolivar, who was a wide-margin winner on heavy going at Roscommon, and Naas maiden winner Tasalka. Carlo Biraghi may struggle to avoid the wooden spoon if the others run up to form.
