Aidan O'Brien hasn't had much joy in this in recent years but aims to put matters right with three entries. Racing Post Trophy runner-up Aloft has only had one subsequent run, landing the Queen's Vase at Ascot and has a huge amount of improvement in him while Bondi Beach surprisingly beat his stablemate Order Of St George in the Group 3 Curragh Cup over this trip in June. Giovanni Canaletto was just touched off by Curvy over 1m2f at the Curragh before finishing fourth and third in the Derbies at Epsom and the Curragh. Any one of the trio could win this though the latter may prove the best of them. Balios has picked up a penalty for his victory in the King Edward VII Stakes and wasn't suited to the slow early pace in the Grand Prix De Paris. However, he was behind STORM THE STARS at Longchamp and there are lines of form suggesting he'll have to play second fiddle to William Haggas' colt, who has been placed at the very highest level on his last three starts, once again. Tashaar has won a maiden and a handicap in impressive style but this is a big step up the ladder.
