Dermot Weld has won two of the three renewals and Aidan O'Brien the other. The former is represented by Kitten Loves Roses, who started a short-priced favourite at Galway after a promising debut at the Curragh but couldn't hold off Landofhopeandglory, trained by O'Brien. Quids In ran well to finish just behind in the latter race but looks held so the vote goes to JOHANNES VERMEER. The Ballydoyle colt, a 300,000 euros son of Galileo, started odds-on for his debut at Tipperary but found 7f too short and wasn't given a hard time so should make enough progress to gain compensation. Dawenkour was unlucky not to finish much closer on his debut over 7f at Naas and the longer trip is in his favour.
