APACHE GOLD is consistent and acts on any ground. He's in very good form and a 5lb rise for his victory at Tipperary shouldn't pose a problem as his previous victory came from a higher mark. He's ridden by Donnacha O'Brien, whose sister Ana could provide the main threat through her mount Udogo, who might have been sent to the front a little early when tackling 1m1f at Gowran and will be suited by dropping back. The three-year-old Escapism has yet to win but was finishing strongly over 7f at Tipperary and looks the type to go on to better things. Avalanche is another maiden and he has run over 6f on his two latest starts while Art Scene ran poorly at Galway on ground softer than he would have liked.
