Not an easy one to solve here but Fongs Gazelle is in such tremendous form that we will not oppose, despite this longer trip, with stablemate Letham Island, Filios and Serpentaria among the dangers. Fongs Gazelle has won three off the reel at Kempton, Bath and Beverley this spring, and would not want any rain here. He carries a 6lb penalty for a five length win last time, so on the face of it he should be capable of going in again provided he stays this far. Mark Johnston should have the clearest handle on his abilities in comparison to Letham Island whom he also runs. The filly is relatively inexperienced but has been going the right way. However, she is finding it hard to win off this mark and might have to settle for the frame again. Filios is interesting now stepped up to this trip and could improve for that, while Serpentaria has to be respected, also being open to a fair bit of improvement and coming from the connections she does, so watch the market. However, Fongs Gazelle is in tremendous form at present and can extend her winning run.
