    Verdict

A typically open sprint handicap and where our short list comprises of Morinqua, Frisky Talk, Avertuoso and Tombi, and we take Morinqua to come home in front. James Given's filly is in superb form at present and was only just collared by an Irish raider at Chester last time out. She has plenty of early pace and the others will find her difficult to reel in after she blasts off in front. Frisky Talk is an in form filly from an in form yard and market confidence would be no surprise. She is unusually consistent for a sprint handicapper but appears to be just a shade too high in the weights at present. Avertuoso has a good 2006 until being too highly tried. However, there was plenty of promise from his Thirsk reappearance and is the ground dries out and gets quicker then his chances would be enhanced. Tombi was a 6f winner last time and this is his first try over the minimum, so the market should tell us if there is any confidence there, but without that knowledge Morinqua is the one for us.
