Verdict
SWEET SELECTION (NAP) completed a double over this trip in minor handicaps then went to Newbury for an event in this grade and defied a 5lb rise to beat Sea Of Heaven, who is now on 93 after scoring subsequently. She's up another 5lb but still looks well enough treated to complete a four-timer. Nakeeta wasn't far behind Sea Of Heaven at Ascot so should carry his big weight with distinction. There's a strong Irish challenge here and Botany Bay will attract support after landing a Leopardstown handicap though it's Renneti who looks the main threat. Last year's close Cesarewitch fourth hasn't had much recent racing but ran very well at the Galway Festival last month. Eshtiaal has been in tremendous form over hurdles and scored over the course and distance in July of last year and though behind Modem at the Galway Festival later he was conceding Jessica Harrington's charge lumps of weight. Oceane didn't get a clear run at Goodwood after his Ascot victory though was only just in front of Poyle Thomas, who has returned from a very long break in excellent form and should now be at his peak.
