Breaking Shadow has run into form of late and returns to the scene of his last victory with leading claims in this company; out of whom Royal Dignitary and Li Shih Chen are forwarded as dangers. A move for Harvest Warrior could also be a way into profit for each-way punters to consider, as he has ability and is now on a very attractive mark. Li Shih Chen is less exposed than many and has plenty of scope to improve now that he races back on turf. Again a market move will be interesting. Royal Dignitary has already enjoyed a profitable season and looks the pick of David Nichols' pair in the race. He does look a little high in the weights, though, and needs everything to fall into place for him. Therefore, we turn to Breaking Shadow, who looks a touch less vulnerable on these terms. The David Barron-trained gelding obviously likes this course and this is his best chance of adding to his tally for quite some time.
