Something of a rougues reunion and Coconut Moon is only marginally preferred to Blackheath and Malapropism, while Triskaidekaphobia is one to seriously monitor in the betting. The last named had some fair form as juvenile and, although not totally straightforward, he would be dangerous to underestimate when last year's form is taken into account. He does need to better his recent efforts though, so a cautious stance is advised where he is concerned. Colonel Cotton also fits that profile and only he will know if he is willing to consent to run to his true capabilities this afternoon. Malaproism has been kept very busy lately and is as tough as old boots. He is also difficult to predict and he looks vulnerable from a 4lb higher mark than for last month's Sandown success. Blackheath is speedy on his day and turned back the clock with a sterling effort here last month. However, he was held off this mark last time and is another with more on his plate this time. Therefore, we take a chance with Coconut Moon, who has a touch more scope for improvement and there is every possibility that he will improve in leaps and bounds to raise his game on this straight dash for home.
