Dareneur, Proprioception and Bukit Fraser are the three for the shortlist here and preference is for Dareneur. A winner over hurdles this winter, Proprioception ran well on his Flat bow when belying a 50-1 starting price to finish a close fourth here, staying on at the finish. The extra two furlongs will suit him and he can run well. Bukit Fraser¿s only win came at Kempton two years ago and although he has since had his limitations exposed, he shaped well to be third in an apprentice handicap last time and can go well. Dareneur has turned in two good recent efforts at the track recently, finishing a staying on second to Dove Cottage and then a decent fourth over tonight¿s trip. That sort of performance may be good enough here and Dareneur can lead them home.
