Luca Cumani has farmed this race in recent years and he can gain his fourth win in a row with Ask The Butler, who gets the vote over Chocolate Caramel, Nawamees and Secret Dancer. A typically tough race, but Ask The Butler was considered good enough to contest a Group Three last year and although he flopped on that occasion, his recent victory shows that he has ability. His jockey Francesca Cumani herself is seeking a hat-trick of wins in this race and on perfect ground he could prove hard to beat. Jeer finished second behind the selection last time and has claims with a turn around in the weights, whilst Maslak has plenty of ability but needs to bounce back from a poor run. Nawamees would be a major danger if able to translate his all-weather form to the turf but his record of one win in 26 turf starts tempers enthusiasm somewhat. Cruise Director and Philanthropy know how to win on the Knavesmire, and he latter showed up for a long way last time. Chocolate Caramel impressed here by the way he travelled en-route to victory, and whilst this is tougher he cannot be ruled out. Aureate is yet another to consider, however Ask The Butler looks to have all the answers.
