Verdict

A superb line up for this Group three contest and the boys in blue look to hold strong claims running both Echo Of Light and Formal Decree, however we will just side with Mullins Bay. The former Ballydoyle inmate is now with top South African trainer Mike De Kock and the trainer was pleased with his two runs in Dubai earlier this year. Aiden O'Brien trained the selection to win this race in 2005 and if he still has the same ability he will be hard to beat this afternoon. Jockey bookings don't always work out with the Godolphin runners but Frankie does look to have it right this time, riding Echo Of Light. He has always been held in high regard by connections and proved his well being with a recent victory in a simlar contest in France. Last year's Cambridgeshire winner Formal Decree ran well behind today's rival Halicarnassus but isn't too well in here on official ratings. It would be no surrprise to see Kandidate involved in the finish here, but the others should be out-classed and so we return to Mullins Bay as the most likley winner.
