In depth

Verdict

Giant Love could be the best option in a tricky maiden, Deira Dubai and Diamond Lass could prove to be the main rivals. Mark Johnston's youngsters are going particularly well and this son of Giant's Causeway showed plenty of promise on his debut here last month. He started slowly but was noted making late headway to finish just over six lengths behind the well regarded Moynahan. With improvement assured he looks the one to be on. Diamond Lass has run well two well contested maidens and looks to have been crying out for this extra furlong. Meanwhile Deira Dubai boasts a superb pedigree and shaped really well on her Doncaster debut. The once raced Beetuna and the Clive Brittain newcomer Intabih are two to watch closely in the market, but Giant Love is the one likely to progress the most and he gets our vote.
