Verdict

Twenty runners go to post for a very tricky finale, where we expect Cayman Breeze and Looking For Love to run well, but for the selection it has to be Cold Climate. The Bob Jones trained gelding took advantage of his sliding rating when successful at Yarmouth last time, and he appeared to win with something to spare in a decent time for the grade of race and he looks very well treated again today. Cayman Breeze represents Ed Dunlop and if he can recapture the form of his Catterick victory in August will be a big danger. Of the others Looking For Love has strong claims after running a gallant third in a much better contest at Ascot last time. Resonate is another to consider on that Ascot form but after much deliberation Cold Climate gets the vote.
