Verdict

Just eleven runners but a difficult race to assess, so a tentative vote goes to Easily Averted, with Foursquare and Reidies Choice given as alternatives. The selection dead-heated for third behind Scarlet Empress on the all weather earlier this month, but is better judged on his previous defeat of Aveline in a competitive nursery at Brighton. Kieren Fallon¿s booking also looks a valid pointer, certainly in regards to Osborne's other runner Cape Trafalgar, and we expect a big run. Foursquare takes a big step down in class after contesting the Cornwallis stakes at Ascot and is certain to make his presence felt. Reidies choice has earned top weight with some gallant efforts this season including a victory at Kempton on his debut. However with Fallon doing the urging Easily Averted is taken to land the spoils.
