Haasem is likely to be popular given the booking of Ryan Moore, however Wodhill Schnaps is likely to appreciate this return to a mile and he gets the nod. Following a storming season on the all-weather, Wodhill Schnaps has found himself on a rather lofty mark of 61. However he ran well off this mark at the track recently and now stepping back up to his optimum trip, he is fancied to gain his first turf win. Hits Only Cash operates well here and could go well, although his draw may not be ideal, whilst Carefree is one to watch in the betting now returning from a break. Spume represents a stable in good form and has claims, as does Kingsholm who is on a nice mark if getting his act together. Navene was given too much to do last time at Southwell but was flying at the line and shapes as if this step up to a mile will suit; he looks to be a major player from what could be a fair draw. Upstairs needs respect on his handicap debut, whilst Astroangel and Libre have been shaping with much more promise lately. An open handicap this, with Wodhill Schnaps fancied to oblige.
