Tazeez couldn't break his duck as a three-year-old and unless he has improved over the winter, this may boil down to French Art, Dolcetto and Decameron, with the vote going to the last-named. The selection was apprentice-ridden on debut when he filled third spot here earlier in the month. That was a fair effort as he was understandably green on that first run. Now Ryan Moore is in the saddle his chances are enhanced and he gets the narrow vote. The David Elsworth pair of French Art and Gainsborough's Art need respect, with the former having disappointed last time at Goodwood when well-fancied; sometimes it pays to ignore Goodwood form though so don't rule out an improved showing. Tazeez has ability but we may see him to better effect after this run assuming that the handicapper isn't too harsh. Selfish Opinion and Ghufa haven't been rushed to the racecourse and each needs a market check, whilst Dolcetto and Mont Cervin are both potential improvers after just one start apiece. At a price Sleeping could go well, however it is Decameron who gets the nod.
