Lady Bernie can land the opener at the expense of Trinity Rose and Edkay. Connections have picked what looks like an easy opportunity for the selection who caught the eye when third to Canalturn at Bangor last time out. That was her personal best effort to date and if repeating that form she will prove difficult to beat. Of the others Trinity Rose who was in the process running a big race when coming to grief at Newton Abbott on only her second start over hurdles. She was showing considerable improvement from her debut and if her confidence has not been knocked she has to be respected. Edkay was not discredited when fifth of eleven at Sedgefield on her debut and can improve for the experience so is one to note in the betting market but for the winner we return to Lady Bernie.
