Tynedale should be good enough to win this Hunters Chase and is give the tentative nod with both Eskimo Jack and Hip Pocket worth noting. The selection unseated his rider on his latest run under rules but has been in great form between the flags of late to warrant respect. His jumping may well be an issue but if putting in a clear round and showing his true colours he is one to stay on the right side of. Eskimo Jack has run with credit in similar races this spring. He generally comes good at this time of year and has run well on all types of going so should be noted. As should Hip Pocket who was good enough to land a Hunters Chase at Cheltenham last time out when getting the better of hot favourite Gallick Dawn. He stays well and will be doing all his best work late on. But for the winner we return to Tynedale.
