Commanche Topgun has the form to win this with both Star Galaxy and Stand On Me worth noting. The selection ran an eye catching race behind Very Cool on his chase debut at Uttoxeter last time out. The winner of that race was entitled to win on his hurdle rating therefore it was a great performance to have been as close as he was. If improving he is sure to win more chases this summer. Star Galaxy had shown plenty of potential last summer in novice races and was unlucky to have not got his head in front. His seasonal reappearance was a little disappointing but he is entitled to come on for that outing so should be on the short list. Stand On Me has his jumping problems as seen last time out. That said he has shown ability in the past in the odd race and Timmy Murphy has travelled up to ride him which is a positive note but confidence must be wearing pretty thin with the horse now and others are preferred. So for the winner we return to Commanche Topgun.
