The consistent Princess Lomi is selected to land her first victory of the season in what is a competitive opener to the feature meeting of the year at Beverley. Eoghan O'Neill's filly has come up against some smart colts in recent outings and last time found one too good in Legion D'Honneur. She is still open to some improvement and is off a mark that she should be able to win off. Milonollo has been campaigned over inadequate trips to date and should benefit for this step up in trip. She was outpaced over 10 furlongs last time at Kempton. Caffari was a course and distance winner last time and merits respect but one or two behind did meet trouble in running. He more than likely is still improving and with that taken into consideration, the 6lb penalty not be enough to prevent him making the placings while at bigger prices the John Quinn trained Rivington Pike is worth a market check as this firm surface should bring about the best in him. Sea Admiral is another than cannot be left from calculations but Princess Lomi is picked to land the opener.
