Red Peony, Without a Trace and Idealistic are the three to consider here, and Red Peony is a filly on the upgrade and can maintain her improvement. Luca Cumani's Idealistic has been in fine form recently, winning twice before finishing a close fifth in a good contest at Windsor. Her most recent York win came when there was some give, and she looks sure to run well. Ed Dunlop¿s Without a Trace ran up a hat-trick early in the season, including a win in good to soft ground at Hamilton. She was upped in grade and finished a good second at Goodwood but that outing was three months ago and she may need the run. Sir Mark Prescott's Red Peony won well at York in good company before finding Polar Jem too good in a better race at Windsor last time. That was a decent effort though, and although the feeling persists that she is better on a faster surface, as a daughter of Montjeu she should be able to handle this easy ground. Red Peony can resume winning ways.
