Verdict

Stir Crazy makes most appeal, with Group Force, Retaliate and Stunningjo the other main players. Stir Crazy has gone the nursery route this season, and finally came good in that sphere at Lingfield in July, making all on the Turf course to beat King's Bastion. That was his second success at the Surrey venue, the Mick Channon inmate having scored on the Polytrack on just his second career outing back in April. Of late, he has gone right off the boil though, and now has his sights lowered to claiming grade. Officially rated 70, he is the selected of three Channon entries at the five-day stage and is taken to get back to winning ways under Ed Creighton. Group Force has shown absolutely nothing in her two maiden starts to date and is now tried in blinkers, as is Pas de Trois who similarly has not caught the eye at all. Retaliate ran very well on her last visit here, finishing a close third, but did not progress at Bath next time, while Stunningjo hails from a shrewd yard in these type of events, but has it all to do on form. Stir Crazy has to give weight away all round, but still makes most appeal.
