Lots of chances on paper though on the racetrack, REGISTRAR is the call with Guto and Outer Hebrides worthy of any shortlist. Christine Dunnett managed to post her hundredth winner recently and the local handler would be a deserving recipient of this prize. The handicapper has been a little naughty in putting Registrar up 2lb for a recent second but he does get on well with Saleem Golam. Ryan Moore is an interesting booking aboard Guto. Often apprentice ridden, it will be interesting to see how the horse reacts to one of the leading professionals aboard. Outer Hebrides has suffered with severe seconditis and a 4lb rise will not especially be welcomed by connections. Mafaheem is better known on artificial surfaces but would be of interest if the market speaks in his favour as he is in off a lower turf mark today. Big Boom narrowly missed the opportunity to land a big racecourse punt at the course having gone from 25/1 to 17/2 at the course in June. The bookies have had their cards marked today. Ex-John Gosden inmate, Mandhooma, returns from something of an absence after a creditable effort at Lingfield. Hilltop Legacy ran fourth in a fillies maiden at Warwick but the handicapper was impressed enough to give her a sizeable whack up the ratings as a conmequence. Proud Killer makes a belated reappearance and is without the headgear that accompanied his last three starts. Circle Dance rarely wins though the Derek Shaw stable are in better form than they were and the market must be monitored. A difficult finale that can go to Registrar.
