KING'S MASQUE is probably flattered by a mark of 66 but he still makes some appeal in a competitive heat where Extracurricular and Art Discovery must come into the picture. Willie Muir's season has taken a turn for the better over the past few weeks and a drop in grade on softer ground could see an upturn in fortune for King's Masque. He was too keen on quick ground at Warwick but could fare better if settling for Martin Dwyer. Jeronimo Joe's surprise success at Warwick came on fast ground and he failed to build on that at Wolverhampton but couldn't be dismissed and nor can stablemate Cool Libby despite being one of the lowest rated in the line-up. Art Discovery may improve for being given time and blinkers and represents the yard responsible for last year's winner whilst Pagan Flight is tried in a tongue strap and should be competitive. King's Chorister should also have a say whilst Extracurricular is of particular interest with Ryan Moore engaged. Marco Botti's charge hasn't cut much ice in maidens but this is far more realistic and it would be no surprise to see her well backed but we'll stick with King's Masque.
