    Verdict

Quality is not how any of these lot could be described and a speculative selection is River Dee to provide rookie trainer Amy Weaver with her first training success. Eight in a maiden over course and distance on his debut, he was very slow away before staying on in the latter stages. The front two admittedly drew a long way clear in that maiden and are in a different league to those behind but given the poor level of form shown by those that a likely to be a lot shorter in the market, the value could be River Dee. Benetti has had three outings to-date, finishing last on two of those three appearances. Shadow Bay, stable companion of Benetti has shown some promise in maidens over five furlongs but could never land a blow on his first attempt at six in a nursery last time. Dispol Toba has failed to land a blow in six starts, three of which have been in this company and it is hard to see how today will be any different. River Dee is given the vote.
