Verdict

Of these runners there's mixed experience and others making their racecourse debut, but we'll go for experience, with Thought Is Free preferred to Special Reserve and the Godolphin newcomer Sibi Saba. The selection, from Paul Cole's yard sees John Egan coming over from Yarmouth for his one ride of the night. It's the longest trip she's faced, having previously raced mainly over 6 and 7 furlongs in some listed races when she was far from disgraced. The yard must feel the trip won't be a problem. Special Reserve is Richard Hannon's runner, and this could be a Monday night opener that he doesn't win! Placed in 6 of his 8 runs to date, he's been unlucky in running when looking a potential winner in handicap company, and he should be too good for some of these. Sibi Saba makes her debut and deserves respect, particularly if there's any market support, but we'll go with Thought Is Free.
