DRAGON SLAYER was well-backed here last time and is taken to get back the losses; the main dangers appear to be Fantasy Ride and Gifted Heir. This looks a very winnable race and the selection has one of the better jockeys in the race aboard. A course and distance winner in the past, he has no problem with the ground and is very well-handicapped on his form of last season. Dusk's recent form over hurdles has been less than inspiring, but he showed some ability in some Wolverhampton maidens earlier this year. Vanilla Bally has not been with the yard for long but judging by her debut here, she would only be interesting if really well-backed, so a bigger threat may be Cyber Space who has shown relatively little in three maiden runs but starts a handicapping career off a lowly mark of 52. Fantasy Ride brings some better form into the race, following a good second here last time but his strike-rate is very modest, whilst Gifted Heir's latest run at Ayr was arguably his best for a while. Desert Hawk is a course and distance winner and needs a market check in such a bad race with a promising jockey on board, however it is Dragon Slayer who is fancied to oblige.
