ARTY CRAFTY could be a potentially well treated horse having had three quiet runs in maidens and is taken to land this handicap at the expense of Precious Secret and Bubses Boy. The Sir Mark Prescott filly showed little in three starts in maidens last autumn. She is sure to have matured well over the winter and spring and with a rating of just 52 she is well worth having a second look at. She steps up in trip and should be noted for any support in the betting market. Precious Secret was exposed in a first time handicap at Windsor last time out but had shown a moderate amount of ability in her maiden races. She steps up two furlongs in trip which ought to help but again the betting market will be the best guide to her chances. Bubses Boy has caught the eye on a couple of occasions this season, but as soon as he shows a little form he then goes and disappoints. His consistency is questioned and for that reason he should be treated with some caution. However Arty Crafty looks the most interesting on paper and is taken to win on her first handicap outing.
