Verdict
Monachello is worth another chance in this modest contest, Bronze Star and Desert Lightning may provide most danger. Amanda Perrett's charge drops to claiming company for the first time having contested some decent handicaps. He hasn't really lived up to his handicap rating but should be good enough to beat this bunch. Bronze Star has been running consistently in handicaps off marks in the 60's and should appreciate this drop back to ten furlongs. Meanwhile Desert Lightning showed improved form at Ayr last time and cannot easily be dismissed. Another to consider for the places is David Elsworth's Fairly Honest, but our idea of the winner is Monachello.
