Prowl is well regarded, Eliza Doolittle and Farncombe from yards whose fortunes have taken an upturn, Miss Frangipane is the form pick but TEIA TEPHI may be the one. The market will clearly be informative for a filly that is making a belated debut but she has always attracted a reasonable amount of interest in the sales ring and she has been named for greatness. She's a half-sister to the smart Tariq who made a winning debut whilst her yard, who has continued to send out winners albeit not with their customary regularity, has an excellent strike rate here. Broomielaw showcased Ed Dunlop's talents for bringing one back after a break and Prowl has always been held in high regard so it will be interesting to see what the market makes of her chances. Miss Frangipane failed to justify market confidence at Salisbury but may be worth another chance whilst Farncombe has shown more than enough to win a race of this nature but has seemed well enough suited by the seven furlongs that she's tackled thus far. Eliza Doolittle finished in midfield on debut over course and distance on ground that may well have been softer than she had cared for. That was a pleasing effort from this half-sister to Strike Up The Band and Fire Up The Band as well as other winners, the race has thrown up winners and she merits respect. Lhashan and Freeing enter calculations on account of their trainers as Michael Jarvis runners always command a second look whilst James Toller sent out nine runners in July and had four winners but we'll take a chance that Teia Tephi may be able to reign on debut.
