      Verdict

This is a very competitive claimer that could go to Treason Trial, but dangers are everywhere, including Ivory Coast, Big Bad Burt and Starmix. Nigel Tinkler's gelding has yet to reach the winner's enclosure but has put up some gallant efforts in defeat, most notably a recent third behind Oneupmanship in a similar event at Leicester. The step up in trip today shouldn't be a problem as he has been staying on over a mile, and he looks to have very strong claims. Starmix has to give plenty of weight away here but can be given a chance on his excellent run at Goodwood behind Dubois. Big Bad Burt bounced back to form here last week behind Arms Acrossthesea, and looks set for another big run. Meanwhile Ivory Coast comes into the reckoning on the best of of his early season form. So not a race to get too involved in financially, but Treason Trial is the one that gets the verdict.
