Verdict
Mugeba has been in consistent form recently and can land this event from Rise and Darla. Gay Kellaway's filly takes a step down in trip after running Glebe Garden to a neck here last week. Today's opposition if anything look slightly weaker and she can regain the winning thread. Darla showed improved form last time when finishing a close up fifth behind Wunderbra at Windsor and even without further progression, should still be in the shake up here. Rise looks best of the others, she has managed a victory this season, beating Sabrina Brown at Salisbury, and hasn't been disgraced in better company since. The rest have the field have plenty to prove, so Mugeba, although not a world beater, should be capable of taking first prize.
