An intriguing contest in which ESHTYAAQ is selected ahead of stablemate Tahseen and newcomer Sposalizio. Marcus Tregoning's son of Mark Of Esteem was as green as grass on his debut at Kempton, eventually settling for second to Huff And Puff. The slight drop in trip may not be in his favour but he looks the pick of the stable's pair and a bold bid is expected from a good draw. Business Bay, Storming Redd and That's Showbiz all shaped with promise on their first starts, whilst Astral Flower improved markedly from first to second runs and is a filly to respect this season. Her stablemate Sposalizio is already gelded but this well-related individual is afforded plenty of respect. Tahseen is out a mare who stayed very well and should therefore relish this longer trip, Fantastic Cuix is rated 77 after sandwiching a good Kempton effort with two poor outings, whilst Miss Wendy is not ignored for a yard who do well at the track. Fascinating stuff with the vote going to Eshtyaaq.
