KINGSWINFORD has caught the eye of late and is preferred here to Lastkingofscotland and Harting Hill. David Evans' gelding is arguably high enough in the weights at present but he has run three good races in defeat from his last five starts. Ryan Moore looks an eye-catching jockey booking and if the market agrees then he might be worth backing. Lastkingofscotland was well supported when winning at Folkestone last time and the step back up in trip won't be a problem as he was outpaced at half-way before running on strongly. Mishrif tries blinkers after his latest one-paced effort here in a visor, Seneschal runs the track well and Jamie Spencer has a 9/29 strike-rate for the yard in recent seasons, whilst Print has a hit-and-miss record but may be happier here than at Brighton last time. Darcey was impressive when last seen at the track so is respected, along with Mudhish who has run some good races here without winning. The consistent trio of Cativo Cavallino, Harting Hill and Tevez are all respected as they look to get back to winning ways, as is Ejeed who is fitted with blinkers instead of cheek-pieces for the first time. A competitive handicap but the nod goes to Kingswinford.
