FAITED TO PRETEND may be able to take a step forwards now tried on turf and heads the short-list from Farmers Wish and Fazbee in a race that features several of the usual suspects. Indeed, two of the eight strong field clashed at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago with Midnight Fantasy coming out best ahead of Suzie Quw. That was a perfectly encouraging return to action from Rae Guest's filly who's entitled to come on for her return and she has claims racing off a mark from which she's proved competitive. Farmers Wish finished down the field at Chepstow last time but she's been dropped 3lbs and the race has worked out fairly well and she's starting to look attractively treated. Fazbee has gone close the last twice on the all-weather at Lingfield in a claimer and a seller and should go well back in handicap company whilst Requisite and Lucky Leigh also look booked for strong performances but we'll take them on with Faited To Pretend. Marco Botti has a 25 per cent strike rate with his three year olds here and his Kheleyf filly is taken to return to form and fulfil the promise of her maiden win on her first attempt on turf.
