This is another tricky event with Adantino getting a luke-warm nomination over possibly Polar Haze and Off Hire. Adantino has form enough from his current Turf mark to warrant serious consideration here, and the jockey booking of Kevin Darley will also make him appealing to many punters. Polar Haze showed a bit more sparkle when finishing a fair fourth at Nottingham last time and, seeing that he has actually been dropped three pounds for that run, could run into a place again. Turning to the others. On The Level's best previous run came in a maiden over today's course and distance last September, so do not rule out a decent run from this one in what is a modest affair. Feast Of Romance has only ever won on the all-weather, and is well-handicapped if he can translate that form to Turf , and he ran respectably from a pound-higher mark over a furlong-longer trip here three runs ago. Komena has the odd bit of reasonable form so, off a rating of 52 and with Philip Robinson booked to ride, she might play a part,.but Gone 'N'' Dunnett seems better these days at five furlongs. Emmervale was behind Gone 'N' Dunnett at Brighton four days ago, but Off Hire can be given a chance if getting back to the level of his form of last summer. Kennington may not have got home over seven furlongs at Doncaster last time and is less-exposed on Turf than most of his opponents, and, while African Spur is very well handicapped based on her winning form of last May, recent efforts have hardly been inspiring. The wheel spins us back to Adantino, then, who is the selection.
