Shining Lights, Shady Grey and Castanet look the three to concentrate on in this novices hurdle and the tentative vote goes to Shady Grey. The selection was a good second behind Make Haste Slowly last time out under similar conditions . He is from a yard in form and he need only reproduce that effort to score. Shining Lights rates the main danger on her best form she won well in a first time visor a couple of runs ago but then was turned over at odds on last time out. If she is in a going mood she will be a danger to all but she can not be backed with any confidence. Castanet is another worthy of respect on her best form but she has not progressed as expected and is another to have reservations about. Of the remainder Why The Big Paws won a novices chase in good style last time out but she may lack the pace for this return to hurdles and for the winner we return to Shady Grey.
