Verdict
Watch Chain won over 6f here last summer and over today's trip at Southwell later. He'll be better for his reappearance here last month and doesn't look too badly weighted. Aleqa gained a C&D success in July and also scored over the trip at Folkestone the following month. He found 6f too short on his return at Warwick and looks a real threat under Ted Durcan, who rode him that day. Mashatu was fancied to make a winning reappearance over a mile here last month but couldn't hold the late thrust of Tewin Wood. This shorter trip is in his favour and he should go well but it's SAIRAAM, who was in fine form at this time a year ago and who made a very promising return behind Music Festival at Doncaster, who gets the vote.
