This looks a potentially-informative novice event but, dropping back in distance, we’re prepared to give another chance to ARGENTELLO. He’s a half-brother to Mooharib so may well be suited by a first run on fast ground and his third at Chester is turning out to be decent form. Imperial Past’s win over 7f here came on soft going but he should handle today’s surface, though may find life tough under his penalty. Godolphin also run the Cape Cross colt Desert Fire, who is a half-brother to Very Talented, while Commended is a son of Frankel and cost 100,000gns. Narynkol hasn’t done much wrong in a couple of starts and should have more to offer while Ghalia Al Thumama was only beaten a neck on debut at Windsor, though that form has taken a few knocks since.
