Verdict

Having missed the break, Blonde Warrior just failed to peg back The Paddocks in a higher grade at Newbury on his debut. He looks a surefire future winner on that evidence and is likely to be a short price to go one better but USTATH could be a very smart newcomer given his breeding. A son of Exceed And Excel, he’s a full brother to 6f winner Fendale and a half-brother to the speedy Saayerr and Ornate. He cost 260,000gns at the Tattersalls October Yearling Sales last year and his stable is bang in form. First Thought was easy to back at York and never figured but he is probably capable of better.
