Verdict

QUANTATMENTAL was facing fast ground for the first time when making all and staying on strongly over this trip at Beverley. He's up 8lb but looks very progressive and will take some catching. Airmax was taking a big leap in trip when just unable to peg back Manor Park over slightly shorter at Windsor and that was his handicap debut. Pepper Street has been looking as though he needs this sort of trip though faces fast going for the first time. The Knot Is Tied hasn't been running badly in minor handicaps though needs a bit more and Eyecatcher may prove more of a threat as he was having his first start since October at Wolverhampton last month and has cheekpieces for the first time.
