A difficult race to assess and Another Native is the selection with Can Can Flyer and Dansilver making a degree of appeal. Tim Vaughan's placement of horses has paved the way for what has been an exciting Summer campaign. The chaser, Another Native, is a cast-off from the Charlie Mann yard but its worth noting that he had shown a degree of ability when trained previously in Ireland. Rain would help his chances although punters will need to bear in mind that he is likely to be overbet on what he has achieved this season. Can Can Flyer has won in plating company. He may have won that race by further still had the rider not dropped his whip but a 6lb rise does not look too harsh. Dansilver has been in-and-out at best. He has been convincingly held this term over hurdles and fences though couldn't be ruled out on some of his better form. Dalaram was once a class act. Those days appear long gone and it is to be hoped that any rain plays to his remaining strengths. Rooster's Reunion would not want rain. Waterspray isn't straight forward and seems likely to find one of the places again. Another Native is put up to limited stakes.
