The booking of Tony McCoy on board KHALASHAN is interesting enough for us to side with Ronald O'Leary's gelding in this race ahead of Kings Riches and Osmosia. The Champion has a 48% record this year in bumpers and Ronald O'Leary doesn't send his runners over from Ireland unless they have very solid claims of taking the race. Khalashan has every chance on this basis and despite it being his debut we take the risk and side with him today. Kings Riches is a proven winner in bumpers and on form he should be a very big danger to our choice. This looks more the sort of contest which Osmosia could compete in after running in a very warm bumper at Doncaster last time. She was a long, long way behind that day but may stand more of a chance here. Although statistics are often deceiving we are swayed towards Khalashan to pick up the win here.
