A very competitive handicap where the progressive Lik Wood Power has obvious claims after landing a recent brace of chases in low-grade company but is opposed with Whatashock, who comes here in good from and has solid claims at the weights. Bronzesmith, Nick The Jewel and Lincoln Place also have sound claims on the best of their form - with the first named the most respected of this trio. However, Whatashock has always had the stamp of a decent chaser in the making and has started to prove that he has plenty to offer his supporters in this sphere. The nine-year-old has been given plenty of time to get the hang of things during his preparation and the softly-softly approach can pay the next installment on the dividend if all goes well for Whatashock here.
