Kareeb, Raymond's Pride and Western Roots have all been knocking on the door recently and may fight out the finish here, preference though goes to Kareeb. Willie Musson's eight-year-old was just pipped by the well treated Cheese'n' Biscuits at Lingfield earlier this month. The winner went on to score again next time so the form is rock solid and the selection should go one better today. Raymond's Pride made a very pleasing return to the track at Southwell last time, finishing an excellent second to Old Bailey. He is rated much higher on the turf an if he can tranfer that form to the all-weather he will be very hard to beat. Western Roots was also runner up last time, chasing home Jidiya in an amateur riders event over a longer trip here. He is just as effective over this trip and should be vying for some place money. All in all it is a tough finale for punters to fathom, but Kareeb has a good chance of giving weight and a beating to his rivals
