Chickado is the pick on form, with Binaa, Shielaligh and Chorus expected to make their presence felt. Chickado enjoyed her first visit to Wolverhampton in November 2003 when winning a maiden over today's trip, and although not managing to add to that since, she has threatened to do so. She has finished second twice on the all-weather recently, and showed plenty of speed in a better race than this when fourth to Merdiff last time. A similar effort should be good enough in this company. Chorus won a banded race at Southwell in November, and although that is about as good as she is, she has continued to run well, and with the step back up in trip in her favour at least, she gets a speculative vote. Binaa in contrast drops back markedly in distance but has a better draw and may well now be fully acclimatised after moving over from Ireland. Shielaligh has been confined to selling company of late and that is her level, but she too has been placed enough to suggest that she will be involved. Chickado has the best claims overall though and can defy her wide draw
