Greenwich Meantime has a string of consistent efforts to his name but has been running over further and may not be so effective over today's shorter trip so preference is for Typhoon Tilly, who is taken to confirm last week's superiority over Ezz Elkheil. That race over today's course and distance was run at a false pace, which probably would not have suited the selection who stays two miles, but Charlie Egerton's gelding stayed on well to lead close home. There should be more to come from the eight-year-old, who is taken to complete a hat trick. Efrhina has been in good form of late but has paid the penalty at the hands of the handicapper as a result and a bigger threat may come from Kingston Harbour. Vince Smith's gelding was a good winner at Southwell last time and holds solid claims off just a 3lb higher mark provided that he handles this surface. York Cliff suggested last time that he stays this trip well enough and is another to consider along with La Puce, who returns following a two-month break. Typhoon Tilly is on top of his game at present though and with a strong pace seemingly assured is taken to win again.
