With stamina doubts over a number of these LA ESTRELLA may be able to outstay them and make it a second claimer win in succession, while Clear Sailing looks perhaps the most interesting opponent. The selection was a 12f Southwell winner last time and has a fair bit of experience over this sort of trip, plus staying trips over jumps. Although not as well in as some here compared to if this were a handicap, he is nonetheless not too badly treated and as one who is pretty much guaranteed to get home we'll side with him to follow up. Clear Sailing is best in at the weights and has a definite opportunity if he stays. He doesn't have too many miles on the clock so far and was not disgraced in a claimer last time, though pedigree suggests he might not get home. Zalkani has gone close over 1m 6f before, here at Wolverhampton, so although he has not been tried over it for some time there is hope there for punters that he might go well. Strictly on the book though he has plenty to find. Salute will get every yard of this and Hayley Turner would probably be well served in trying to make this a real test of stamina to enhance her chances of success. Ricci De Mare needs to improve plenty and prove stamina, despite a recent win, and we'll take La Estrella to land the claimer.
