Not much for us to go on in this maiden but pedigree suggests we should probably side with RACKETEER, while fellow newcomer Saptapadi might push him close and Pressing Matters looks best of those to have raced so far. Racketeer hails from the John Gosden yard and is a half-brother to the brilliant filly Attraction. Speed should not be a problem on that basis, and he should be effective at up to a mile in time, so this is as good a starting point as any. The yard can have them ready to win first time of course, so that is no issue, and we¿ll side with him. Saptapadi will certainly get plenty further than this in time and is another well bred sort from a top yard. Again, fitness should not be a major concern and Sir Michael Stoute has had a winner from his few recent runners, so a good debut is anticipated. Pressing Matters steps up in trip here from 6f and can probably find more improvement for that. If he can do so then with his extra experience he can surely go close on a surface that should hold no fears. Ask Dan is coming along steadily but may not quite have the class for this and handicapping looks likely to be his forte, while Munjum represents an in-form yard and is also bred to get further, so he has possibilities over this starting trip. Racketeer is the suggestion for tonight.
